I've been up for an hour but Debi is still snozin'. You got me on two counts! I can't make an
Americano and I roasted and brought only ISH CG Estate, no Napoleon. Sipping my second Press cup of
Puerto Rican Yauco Selecto this morning. Will make a Press pot of Aussie when Debi wakes up. They
off to play with fire (down to the current lava flows) stopping on the way for breakfast at The
Coffee Shack Cafe. It's about 15min south of our resort condo.
Is backstrap cut anything like brisket? Slow 12hr smoked Elk would be a great experience! If it's a
tender cut then shorten the time... Enjoy your hunting trip as I'm sure you will. I've never been
into hunting but have no qualms enjoying the fruits of others labor!
I've been really impressed with the grind quality of this Zass Turkish Mill. Glad I didn't pre-grind
and vac pack like I did for last years trip to Kona. It's a bit of work but hey, not in any rush
over here! Besides, grinding for this mornings first Press I was done grinding before the stove had
the water up to temp'. Way cool sitting on the lanai grinding coffee watching the sun rise over the
moutain then turn my head looking west through a giant Palm with leaves overhanging the lanai and
watch the Pacific catch the glint of the day's new sun. Did I say we love it over here!
