I think home roasters buying specialty greens are already part of the
solution.
The March contract on the Coffee, Sugar & Cocoa Exchange
fell below 70 cents a pound today.  That is probably the price
the big 3( P & G, Kraft, Nestle) pay for the beans they turn into Folgers,
Maxwell House, etc.  My used empty plastic valve bags have more aroma than
the
grocers whole beans that are supposed to be a step up from preground.
Buy more Fair Trade greens, so easy to do when it's as good as the
Nicaraguan.
