Topic: MORE vacuum cleaner tricks (2 msgs / 27 lines)
1) From: Dave Huddle
Last night, after roasting a couple of batches, I was alarmed by the
sound of green beans spilling on the kitchen floor (from an open bag of
Columbian Tuluni on the counter top.)
Using a broom and dustpan, I swept up the beans, along with bit of cat
hair and UFO's (unidentified floor objects).
I dumped the mess into a metal collander, and used the exhaust from a
recently cleaned shopvac to blow air up through the collander and
beans. The lightweight stuff was lifted away, leaving relatively
uncontaminated beans. There were only a few UFO's left to pick out.
When I roast these beans, I'm sure they will be at least as clean as
the Kopi Luwak Tom was selling late last year.

Is *that* your standard?
