Topic: 39f ambient roasting (3 msgs / 39 lines)

Just roasted a couple batches, chilly 39f ambient in garage. Usual 1/3#
batches. No problem. Biggest difference had to use higher voltage (112v) to
hit my 380f in 6min. Then max voltage was 116v for 440fin 12min total. No
box or vent blocking! Gotta love the variac:-)
Possible added advantage to cool ambient roasting is faster cooling of
roast!

Oh, you mean the Sauna Profile? That's where you toss the beans in a snow
drift and collect them next spring. ;) Dan

And while you're waiting for Spring scoop up some of the snow and have a
coffee snow cone!
