Topic: Indian Peaberry Americanos (2 msgs / 36 lines)

Well Gang, I have been enjoying all of the side posts, I thought I would put
a coffee post up just for the fun of it! I pulled my first Americanos with
the India Peaberry today. It sure isn't the Konas I have been pulling since
the Mike McGuinness drive by drop off, but WOW was it ever a good cup of
coffee. I really like the variety of our hobby. Coffee from different
regions that are really good coffee, but with awesome differences in the
tastes. The India Peaberry gave me a wonderful coffee taste that seemed to
be what we may call the bass notes if it were music. It was a nice robust
cup of coffee. Maybe I would describe it as a Brazilian coffee on steroids!
There wasn't that chocolate taste, it was very down to earth and so good.
When I get back to Kona next week, I know that it will even taste better
because the old palate has had a change of pace. It is kind of like going
some place different and coming home again, you see things from a new and
fresh perspective. That is one of the reasons I like to have at least a
dozen (to be real honest two dozen) different coffees in the stash.

P.S. I really have over 3 dozen different coffees in the stash at the
present time!

Are you accusing Mike mcKona of a drive-by shot'ing? I didn't know the
CSA was gang related activity. :-D
