Thank all of you for your help with my lubrication problem. I never did
lubricate the top bearing, but I got the lower, more important one and my
HIP is quite a bit quieter. One thing I notice when I plugged it in to test
it before I put it back together: One of the brushes does quite a bit of
sparking. The other one sparks a little, but this one is a continues trail
of sparks. I wonder what that means?

Took my HWP apart last night and oiled it to see how it was done again-well
turns out I oil the top bearing by just squirting the oil on the shaft using
a hypo syringe with a long and course needle attached. Think I took the
blower off once but it was a PITA-now only squirt oil on the shaft of the
top bearing and hope it runs into the bearing.
