Current drum roaster update. Started my 1 pound
Frontgate/BBQ drum roaster using a Weber motor turning 3
rpm. Keep getting a wide variation in bean color. Switched
to a Charbroil motor turning 6 rpm and am getting much
better uniform bean color. Now, just adapted Dan
Bollinger's 30 rpm!! motor and it works like a charm. Used
a 3/8" deep socket to make my own motor shaft coupling.
I'll roast sometime during the next few days and report.

Hey, Jim, glad to hear it worked! I'm glad those old units could be put to
such a tasty use. Dan

I've got the Frontgate can and I've got the Bollinger motor. I'll be giving
this a whirl over the holidays. Thanks Jim for taking the 'point'.
