I live in Nayarit Mexico. In my tourists business I have jeep trips to =
the coffee country.
High altitude Arabica (Altura types, I think).
I have been roasting my own, for the last three years, for myself and =
B&B guests and I always take along a thermos on our back country trips. =
You can see some of my write up adventures athttp://members5.boardhost.com/CasaLibertad/if you want. I write under =
the title
BACK ROADS OF NAYARIT, which have been published by several travel types =
on the internet.
I have gotten quite interested in coffee and would like to promote the =
exporting in either large or small batches. There is one processing =
plant that will sell to me and help me export. Only thing, I have no =
U.S. connections and maybe there is no future here.
Advise or interest from anyone will be appreciated.

Hi Bob, I've tried your Nayarit coffee and I know it's very
good.Old typica variety.Needs more fine grading and cleaning to
be "specialty coffee", that's all. I sent some samples to some
list members who liked it. I'm glad to hear that there's a crop
this year after the monster hurrucaine that hit your area.
This list is for homeroasters and is provided by Sweet Marias,
of course. You should get in touch with Tom and send him a
sample to see if he wants to offer it. Otherwise, you need to
sell it from your own website, no? Alt.coffee has many pro
roasters and sellers who might respond to a messaage there. I've
also noticed more home roast interest in Mexico, where it's
about impossible to order from Sweet Marias, as you know. I met
a SM list lurker just last week down in Oaxaca who was kind
enough to give me a late night ride to the bus station. He was
thrilled to get some fancy greens in return.
Maybe some list members would like to visit your B+B
for a coffee farm tour in one of the prettiest parts of
Mexico...Mighty nice beaches around there, too. Buena suerte Bob
Charlie

Bob, You might collect 'single origin' samples. Coffee from just one =
farm, known to be a good and consistent producer of high quality coffee. =
Send them to Tom at Sweet Marias for 'cupping.' If he likes them, =
he'll order in what he thinks his customers will want. Dan =
