OK, what's the scoop? The first homeroaster I have seen marketed in a 30
minute infomercial!
Check it out athttp://coffeeroasting.com/Anyone know anything about the roaster? I can't find any spec's, like how
much it roasts per batch. I think the only control is the timer.
At $149, it isn't that pricey. But I wonder about the smoke issue....
might be a big surprise for someone who saw it on TV and ordered it.

Paul:
There have been several people on ALT COFFEE and coffeegeek.com.
discussions who have and use them. One of the owners has participated
in both places. I think you will find the discussions interesting.

Thanks, I went and read through the comments on alt.coffee. Aside from
reminding myself why I don't read alt.coffee on a regular basis, it was
interesting reading. I like my Alp but I have been thinking about a second
roaster for some of the beans that are hard to roast in the Alp.
It sounds like the ZAD is a mixed bag but the participation of the owner on
the NG is brilliant. And he sounds like he actually cares too. I may try
one.
And yes, I wish Tom would consider carrying them. I won't buy my greens
anywhere else and I like one stop shopping.

I'll be getting a ZaD in late January, and will be posting comments within
a month on it. It's a bit far off, I know...
I'm hoping the ZaD folks will be at SCAA Boston to discuss and display the
product.
