Bill I have a Yama, It is a 20 oz. pot, Tom say's he gets 22 oz. I have =
never made any less then a full pot, and have not measured the amount of =
water left in the bottom. IHO the Yama makes a good pot of coffee, and =
is cost effective.

I would like to wish each and everyone on the list the happiest of holidays and a wonderful New Year. The list is very informative and educational. Thanks to everyone.
Secondly, I have been agonizing over the purchase of a Yama 5-cup Vacpot. I want to make about 15-16 oz of coffee. Many of you have suggested that too much water is left in the lower chamber. Can anyone advise me of the amount of water left below and if they have had any success in brewing the quantity that I have suggested? Your responses will be greatly appreciated.

The SM web site says the Yama makes 20 oz. 15-16 oz. should not be a
problem.
