Topic: Coffee Out now Sour coffee (22 lines)

I think it might be a pourover thing. I've got a melitta cone at work, and
had to slightly modify a hotpot to boil water. I get it rolling, unplug, wet
the grounds, plug in while grounds rise, when it's rolling again, then I add
more water, repeating as necessary. I'm pouring so hot that I feel the water
boiling through the handle, and pour as soon as it's settled enough to not
jump right out. Otherwise the coffee gets sour as it cools, if I don't do
this with an acidic coffee, it's like eating a green orange!
And if that doesn't fix it, a coarser grind might.
Has anyone else had this happen?
