Topic: ISH-Pleasant Surprise Today (29 lines)
1) From: HalfHyde
I bemoaned to the list earlier in the week that I had run out ISH.
Well, I had a yellow slip on my front door two days ago, left by the post
office.
It was a notice of attempt to deliver certified mail. Crap! My son got
another photo radar ticket and this is a certified notice to pay up. The car
is in my name, so it would be me they were after.
Sorry! I don't accept certified mail!
I could not tell from the slip who it was from, but the name was Kettlewell.
That sure is English. It was a large envelope.... Maybe this is not a demand
to pay a traffic ticket.
Curiousity got the better of me this yesterday and I called the post office.
They told me that it was coffee beans from the Ascension Islands. Maybe I
will sign for that ;)
They just delivered it and it is a pound of green Bluemans Estate.
It took seven months to get here from St. Helena! But here it is and I am
ready to roast!
Bag Note:
BLUEMANS ESTATE
This is the private estate of the founder of The Island of St. Helena Coffee
Company. Set at the top of a mountain on the western part of the island.
Blumans commands wonderful views over most of the island and was the first
of the new estates to be developed.
