i wonder just how long the wait will be.... I ordered a pound of Napoleon
Estate from the ISH website on Oct. 4, and there is no sign of it so
far. I read somewhere that the owner of the coffee business had to go have
serious back surgery, so who knows how long it will be before I get to try
the magical ISH I've read so much about.

Better get comfortable, you may have a long wait. I
ordered 3 pounds on June 21, ain't got nuthin yet.
However I am practically giddy with optimism since I
saw a post a few days ago from a person who got their
order after 7 months. Maybe by Superbowl Sunday??

Leslie could you give me the web address to the ISH site? I have been unable
to find it. I am interested to hear from others on the answer to your
question. I have heard it takes a long time. dale

I guess we'll see. I placed an order at lunchtime (1lb...Bonapart
Estate.) If nothing else I'm curious and want to try ISH at least
once...although at that price It will be a special treat only. My guilt
over the cost was tempered a bit when my Brother told me some of his
"fine dining stories" the other day which makes our passion seem like
pocket change. BTW, A lady I work with was telling me how she had some
coffee when visiting the Dominican Republic that was outrageiously good.
I couldn't find any DR coffee's listed so I'm wondering what she might
have had???

Hi Wendy,
Please be sure to let us know how your ISH coffee order progresses. It may
very well be that Tom will receive his annual shipment for us (if he is able
to get a shipment this year) before your direct order arrives. The great race
is on.
From a cost standpoint, how much per cup will the fresh roasted, just the way
you like it, ISH cost compared to ... say.... a cup at $bucks or another well
known coffee establishment? In that perspective I think your ISH will be
quite rea$onable. No need to burden yourself with undeserved guilt.
Now I will have to dig out my remaining vacuum sealed stash of last years ISH
and roast a batch.

You're so true about the price. I was sharing an office with a collegue
recently who was telling me the he calculated that daily *$ costs around
$1000/yr. (In fact, my Dad won't walk in to *$ for that very reason.)
If you figure a coffee at *$ costs $3, and a lb of ISH yields more than
10 or 11 cups, it's acutally cheaper. (but still 6x the cost of "normal"
greens.)
