Wiring for the Radio Shack 12.6v 3A or 25.2v 2A transformer is similar
though they do not have numbered lugs, come with pre-tinned wire leads. Two
black (designed as 120v input) on one side, two yellow with a black in
between on the other side (black center wire on this side is center tap to
get 1/2 rated out - capped off for this installation, out side yellow leads
for rated voltage out - or used with center tap for 1/2 rated voltage). To
boost voltage simply connect one side of your incoming 120v ac with one of
the two black input black leads AND one of the two yellow leads (say both
from left oriented), your other 120v incoming connects to the other black
lead. Your output voltage is taken from the input lead without the yellow
(in this case the one on the right) and other yellow lead (in this case also
on the right). Your output voltage will be approximately input plus
transformer rating (120+12.6= 132.6v or 120+25.25.2v). The Radio Shack 3A
& 2A transformer are fine for fan controller, DO NOT attempt to use them to
boost voltage to heater!!! As Deward suggested, you'd want to go say a 20A
rated transformer and a correspondingly rated 15A+ dimmer.
