Alas, John;-(
We who have moved up from Whirly blades to Zass and appreciate the
difference, may be considered coffee mavens by our family..
We who only use "fresh" beans and frown on instant may be considered Snobs
by our neighbors.
But, to be a member of the CSA requires an obsession beyond ours.
I am beginning to think of other ways to roast besides my Hearthware (How
will I get a deep dark Sumatra to be real good??)-but that is not enough...
They will never let us in until we have a stash of 60 lbs of 6 different
Konas, 3 methods of roasting (all must be modified with various variacs,
chimneys, laser thermometers, ruby goldberg stirring devices, etc, about a
half dozen methods of brewing, and I am not sure that is enough.
We should just feel proud that they let us participate on this list. That is
an honor in itself!
Best,
myron

No, the Konas are a MM thing only. LOL!
Besides, I have over 20 lbs in numerous vanities (plus really want the
brazians Tom just got in)
A FR, two modified WBI, a WBII modified, and a drum roaster in the works.
Then for brewing, drip, drip with carafe, chemex, single cup and moka pot
plus the real burr zass grinder now...
