Topic: Is a filter a filter? (24 lines)
1) From: Dana Kaempen
Has anyone compared the various permanent ("gold") filters for either hole
size or some other measure of quality? I've been using a "generic" gold
cone filter at work for a number of years and I've never had a complaint
with it. The holes are really tiny and all uniform; I believe they're
rectangular in shape. Like I say, no problems, and no great quantities of
sludge.
However, like so many things, you may not know what you're missing until
you try something that's better. So, my question is, does anyone have any
stories or experience in using one gold filter over another?
