Yup, another homebrewer and homeroaster here. And, as was assumed a
couple of days ago, a bread baker. These are parallel solutions to
bland and unsatisfactory offerings in the general marketplace.
I try not to act like a snob about Kleenex bread, BudMiller beer or
MaxFolgers coffee. I just want better stuff.

How about home roast, soy milk, yogurt, tofu and bread machines?? It still
fits in the do it yourself for the best quality.

Oh, I most definitely do!! No albino pseudo wheat stuff, goat piss or stale
colored goat piss consumed here.

See but you have to realize that people actually like that cra... uh,
stuff, which is why it's around. For example I know several people who
prefer instant coffee to anything else, and I have friends who prefer
fast food and frozen food to homemade stuff. I've actually heard
comments like "I don't like this because it has too much flavor".
Seriously...!

Oh I know, BUT, I will not buy any of the cra... for "friends" to consume
while at my home. Then again, the few who might, know it, and otherwise, I
surround myself with like thinking people (not really on purpose). OTOH, I
am a bit "odd" to some of them :-)
