It's been a long time since I wrote to this list - been out of town, then
very busy, and starting tomorrow I'll be out of town again, but I wanted to
catch up on a couple of points-
I got some fresh Kona a while back from Kona miKe. Wow. That is some
fascinating coffee. So many levels of flavor - I can see why people get
hooked.
I got some Kopi Luwak from John Nanci a couple of months ago, and I was
going to share some. No, I didn't forget about that. I'll send out a
"traditions" post on that when I get back.
And lastly, that Columbian Mesa de los Santos. Another big Wow. I've been
roasting it to a few seconds into second crack then making Americanos.
This is probably the most "coffee-tasting" coffee I've ever had, with
wonderful coffee flavor notes and a very coffee-like body and finish. I
know that sounds ridiculous, what I mean is that I have a fairly clear idea
of what coffee is supposed to taste like, and this is it exactly. Highly
recommended.

You're prolly going to like Tom's Columbian Bucaramanga, then. Give it a
try.
