Topic: Drum gear shift - roaster controller into production (4 msgs / 130 lines)

Yoo-hoo! Not to take away from all the great drum construction discussion
but my final component needed to start layout & assembly arrived today - the
new old stock panel mount Powerstat 10A variable transformer. It's already
mounted in the 22" *toolbox* (went with a new gray plastic from Harbor
Freight $16 rather than my old rusty bent up steel one), which is the case
for my dual variable tranformer controller. Now *only* the main power on
toggle switch, main power green on light, AC digital panel meter, heater-fan
AC meter toggle switch, 25.2v boost wired transformer for fan, dimmer switch
for fan with diode wired for always 1/2 on, toggle switch for master fan on,
toggle switch for master heater on, amber fan on light, red heater on
light, timer switch for heater on, toggle switch for heater always on/timer
on, red light indicator timer controlling heater, timer switch for fan on,
toggle for fan always on/timer on, amber light indicator fan timer
contolled, fuse holder, power in cord, and two dual socket plugs to mount
and wire together and it'll be ready to go! I think that's everything... I
*almost* wish we weren't leaving for the Coast Friday for a 4 day weekend:)
But knowing me it'll be late nights and done by then! Maybe take with. I do
believe a Rosto will even fit inside! Won't know for sure 'till it's fully
assembled.
But first Debi says I have to get busy and Traegerize some Tuna, simply
brushed with a butter, olive oil, garlic, lemon zest mixture and mesquite
grilled:-(

OK - All you old timers remember "Dr. Zarchoff's Lab?" Mike is going to
make him look like a boy scout here in a couple of days. The power company
is probably already trying to track down all those power drains :O)
Way to go Mike - take pictures as you construct - so us old guys (that
remember Zarchoff) can copy :O)

How could all those creative (and Tuna) juices detract from the drum roasting
saga? Go Mike!
