Topic: Peanut roasters (3 msgs / 70 lines)
1) From: Jim Karavias
I was thinking that other types of roasters would serve double duty and
found a company that sells peanut roasters that they claim can also server
as coffee roasters. Even if they aren't exactly right for the job, they may
offer some ideas for the people building their own drum roasters. There is
one roaster that looks like it could roast about 10lbs of coffee for $1600.
Runs on propane and a 12v battery.http://www.cajuncreole.com/roasters/roasters.html#videoJim Karavias

I'm a bit lagged on my replies to email.
This is an interesting web site. Stripped down, bare bones roasters that are
reasonable in price. Great resource Jim. Thanks

I also meant to reply about the good tip about that site. I
knew something like that peanut roaster was out there somewhere
but never could find it. Might come in handy someday. Thanks
Jim, and Ed for the reminder about it.
