I'm actually looking at 1500w+ continuous peak power inverters for future local trips to the Coast. Especially the week long International Kite Festival. Would be enough power for say, Rocky & Miss Silvia! Could even roast on the Coast while watching the sunset from the edge of the surf! Yes I'm nuts but why not? No limits, no excuses! Ummm Mike, its beginning to sound like Deb could name Miss Silvia as correspondent in a divorce trial. Sitting on a romantic beach, watching the sunset and you are roasting for Miss Silvia. I still do a little counseling - we need to talk! John - trying to figure out a way to hide my new vertical antenna from the view of neighbors.

Ben, You are right on. I have a six foot 2.5" diameter dual-band antenna and I just hung a flag on it and it looks natural! Now my concern is the wind loading on it during some of our notorious wind storms. I guess I can pull the flag off after a couple of days and nobody will know.
