Actual this is the first time I've ordered it. My intent is for Nawlins
style French Roast. I used to buy pre-roasted from Cafe' Maison. Brings back
memories of our visit to the French Quarter. Not for daily consumption but
for occasional weekends when we get ambitious and make beignets. Can't
properly have beignets (Nawlins style dounuts made famous by Cafe' Dumond)
without French Pressed French Roast with chicory! Yes, it is traditionally
served with cream and sugar though I traditionally drink it black.

Mike,
My next Chicory will be French Pressed rather than vac brewed. I am going
to roast up some full city plus Brazilian and use Becky's new Tupperware
French Press from Europe. She won it as a prize. I don't think they are
for sale in the USA and I wouldn't want to directly compete with Tom. It
does give an excuse for using more of the Chicory. John in the DEEP South,
(I miss that handle!), you may reconsider and order some Chicory from Tom.
The store stuff I have seen is stale to the max!
Les
