Hello All,
I am using the ZAD Roaster, have also used the Poppery and
the Whirley Popper Stovetop. I now really like the ZAD alot, and am using it
in my own way, manually cooling the beans. Most of my Darker Roasts, or
Medium Darks are about 12 minutes of actual raosting per 100 grams of Green
Beans. My beans are usually dry, maybe slight specs of oil on some of the
Beans when finished, and in Mason Jars. I was wondering if anyone out there
with the ZAD Roaster, knows to what level to Roast, to get the shiny, or
velvety appearance on the beans. I dont want them real oily, but just a
sheen to them. My Espresso Blends have been coming out very good, but
again, I have not gone beyond small specs of oil on bean surface. I do not
want to get them too dark.
                         Thanks, Ray
