For home use, WinXP preferred over W2K IMO. Been running XP Pro about 16
months rock solid. W2k also solid, XP better for home application...

Its whatever you get used to, I guess. My son has XP and I hate it. Talk
about Windows for dummies. (Not implying anything here) I understand that
XP sends all sorts of info back to uncle softie, usage, web sites, etc.
Also difficult to reconfigure, or reload. At any rate both vastly
preferable to 98.

hey gentlemen,
get yourselves a Mac and you won't have these problems and will be light
years ahead of the pack!

Three answers for all this: 1) Linux 2) Firewall 3) Espresso Actually
Eprsso should be first - after that everything else shrinks in importance.

Mainstream business buys huge quantities of vietnamese robusto
too, and for pretty much the same reasons. It's cheaper and it's
"good enough" for the folks in the cubicle farm.
