Oh my god!
I have 32 bags of greens and now I see why we need to have some control over
them!
Tom' s sampler packs are really nice.
Now I will enter them all in the computer, make a sheet for roasting and
tasting and what am I forgetting?

Ginny,
If you want to optimize your roast - include the time to 1st snap and 2nd
snap. Also date the roast. If you want to get fancy you can show beans in
stock as well.

Don't forget to enjoy the results!

Or do as I have done. Put them away, file them in my head, roast as feels
right and never keep any notes.
Anyway, don't forget enjoy the experience and coffee.

Truly, a man after my own heart! I have little slips of cardstock that I
stuff in my roasted bean jars. On the front is the name of the finca. On
the back are the roasting notes for each batch I've done. When I'm done I
toss them in a drawer until the next time I roast that bean. I know, that's
a lot of maintaining a maintence system. Call me anal-retentive if you
must. ;) Dan

well since my list keeping is little scraps of paper that end up in my
pockets and then get washed...
we will see.
