Hi Mike- First, I missed the post on how your got
enough money to get a gold Royal Balance. Robbed a
bank, your ship came in , your horse came in, hit the
lottery, sold a child to the gypsies?
Any way, way back 5 or 6 months ago I got some bags
from you and said I would send you a chocolate or two.
Guess what? The truffles are in the mail!! (I've
been studying the customer service manual from the ISH
folks) If you would, let me know what kind of shape
they are in when they arrive. My wife may want to try
to sell a few over the Internet, and we would like to
see how badly they get mangled in shipping. I think
these are coming by US Postal Svc. I got her a
chocolate tempering machine for her birthday last
week. Coffee roasting is not the only pass time with
expensive toys.
Hope all is well with you and yours, enjoy the
truffles
Cheers Jim Jordan

I missed the Misty Valley Idido so I was excited to see some on the
shelf at the local roaster's when I went with a friend who needed vaster
quantities of beans for a corporate function than I was willing to churn
out using my CaffeRosto.
I tried to buy greens but the roastmaster wasn't willing to part with
any. I bought a half pound roasted, on the dark side of FC and smelling
today of chocolate covered cherries. My mouth is watering but my
logical brain is making me wait until tomorrow morning.
Mmmmm. Can't wait.

Just now finished my first shot of the IMV purchased from the local
roaster. Cherries are STRONG, with a hint of sweet chocolatey spice in
the aftertaste and a very subtle suggestion of a good single malt bourbon.
On further inspection it appears as if the roastmaster took these beans
slightly into 2nd, as I saw a few divoted beans and this morning there
is a nice sheen of oil on the beans. After the school run (departure: 5
mins) I will dial Rocky back for mokka brew and undoubtedly will enjoy
that just as much as the double I just finished.
I do believe I'll be drinking IMV until it's gone. My friends will be
heartbroken to know this - they'll end up with the Espresso Monkey and
Puro Scuro I roasted a few days ago as I don't want it to go stale
waiting for me *g*

It is important to keep a good eye on the offering sheet. There are
some awesome coffees that can slip by. My understanding is all of the
IMV for this year is already presold, so when Tom gets his, don't wait
for a second offering because I doubt ther will be one.

drink... er... manage that stash of yours.
