Topic: Texas tamper; and coffee sharing. (2 msgs / 71 lines)

Mike and Gin,
There is a picture of the one Jack didn't buy on my web page under the 53 mm
page! Jack didn't specify the length, but I could have gone long if he
wanted! Gin, it has a Lignum Vitae base. Mike, when I was turning the
mesquite, I couldn't help but think about BBQ! The smell of the mesquite
had me thinking RIBS!
On another topic, I just got back from a Dad and Daughter retreat. The
speaker claimed to be a coffee expert! Being a nice guy, I brought my hand
grinder, French Press and some fine Kona. The bum didn't have a clue what
good coffee should taste like! This morning while brewing up a cup for
myself, one of the guys who I have made friends with over the years shared
his coffee journey. I gave him a half a cup of the good stuff and he said,
"Hey I could get hooked on this stuff. This is the best coffee I have ever
had!" Those words were music to my ears! I gave him Tom's web page. Who
knows we may have another homeroaster!

2) From: Ed Needham
I brewed a pot this morning at work, and poured it into a thermos to take
back to my desk. By the time I got back to my desk, I had only a half a cup
left for me. I think five of my co-workers hit me up in the hallway and
break room, each commenting on the intoxicating smell I had filled the office
with (large office area). Great satisfaction for me. BTW, it was a blend of
Kenya and Colombian. Yummy.
