My dog loves to eat the beans I drop when I'm roasting. Usually, when I'm
cooling the beans I'll drop a couple, she never misses one. From what I've
heard, coffee is not good for dogs, but I figure a couple beans here and
there aren't going to hurt her.

I asked my vet because Dash eats the beans I drop and the vet said a couple
won't hurt but they really should not have them...
his thought is that they only like them because YOU drop them and they think
they are dropped especially for them.

Apparently the earliest records of humans consuming coffee beans was to
mash the green beans into a kind of paste and spread it on bread -
kind'a like peanut butter.

Dusty used to carefully sniff the beans before eating them; she seemed =
to really like them. Then again, who knows?

So am I hearing the potential for Collie Luwok?? I tend to agree with
Ginny's vet, my cocker would try to eat marbles if I dropped them in the
kitchen.

the operative word my vet was talking about with the conversation about dogs
eating what we drop on our floors. they will put almost anything in the
mouths and swallow it!
hence too many roasted coffee beans or other stuff is not good for um..
