But how(s)...
While taking a break from cleanup this afternoon made a vac pot of Jamaica
Blue Mountain Mavis Banks 02 72hrs rested. (12min roast well developed 1st
never thought of let alone touched 2nd 440f.) Brought back memories of a
previous thread "Is it worth it" from a year or two ago. I still answer yes.
And that was following earlier cups today of Puerto Rican Yauco Selecto 03,
ISH Coffee Grounds 02, Wood's Kona 01/02. JBM stands in it's own right.
Last festivities of yesterday evening included after desert making a Cona D
& Royal vac brewing of Koa Coffee Peaberry. (roasted same as the profile
above JBM) Many noticed what I've known for some time. The coffee from both
was just ok, when very hot that is. As the Koa Kona Peaberry cooled I heard
a number people mention it was outstanding, sweet and complex. Yup, same
goes for JBM. It sings the strongest complex long lingering savory song as
the cup is cooling, not piping hot. I find it true for many if not most of
the best coffees including Island of St. Helena. Can be good when hot and
but best complex flavor dance when cooling.
Now to kick up the feet and relax for a few in preparations for another same
old same old work week highlighted with outstanding coffees!
