Topic: the correct "glue" (2 msgs / 41 lines)
1) From: gp
I have the replacement bottom for my FR. The bottom of the glass, the
plastic part that was getting burned and bbled had some adhesive to attach
the screen and plastic bottom.
Looked, felt and actied like plain old clear goo...
I am sure it must have been heat resistant.
So any thoughts on what kind of stuff to use to secure the new bottom to the
glass beaker part?
I was going to use JB Weld but I want to be able to take it apart and clean
it completely. JB Weld is on there forever.
Am I correct that I can use marine goo, or shoe goo..?
is it heat proof?

Hi Gin,
Tim, the FR maker, uses RTV 500. I've used DAP,
and others JB WELD, all with equal success.
