So with all that Mike McKoffee can do with his Rosto, what would be the
list's opinion about a Franken-Formed "new" Rosto (half-pound model) vs. a
Hottop ... either a "true" FrankenFormed Hottop, with complete roast
monitoring in some fashion that complements the built-in profile, or just a
Variac-ed initial warmup step?
Sounds like the Hottop offers the best hands-free roasting, but the Rosto
(unless the "new" one takes this away) offers the best custom-roasting (with
proper temp measurement, and air/voltage control).
