OK - I just got a note that some felt I was less than complimentary
about the La Pluma beans.  NOT SO!  If you look at my first posts I
thought they were excellent.  What I did to them was my problem not the
beans. I left them in the SM5K over night - two nights in a row - with
the unit powered up.  So I baked them and let them sit in the kitchen
air. 
My comment was based on the rapid fall off of the bean (that -I-
roasted) and I was wondering if it was the storage or my roasting that
caused the problem. The first days cups were excellent.  I didn't mean
to come off as putting the beans down in the slightest.
As an added observation - the local healthfood store has shelves of
Mexican Altura that moves faster than any of the other beans. So if I
don't find them equal in flavor with CR or Kona - then its my taste.
