Topic: That Sigh is relief (15 msgs / 295 lines)
1) From: John Abbott
First, thanks for all the prayers and good wishes - they worked! I have
been diagnosed with Goodpasture Syndrome. I have a medication that
should have me squared away in short order. I got a couple of shots at
the clinic and am feeling fit and normal - well as normal as -I- get.
Second. Thanks to Tonya and Rod for the guidance to the beans. I had a
great cup at lunch and we're set to boogie. Carolyn is packing as I'm
clearing and posting. WE'RE OUT OF HERE!
I should be back home in about 6 hours. More important - I'll be with my
beloved SM5K and tipping up some El Salvador beans.
Last - (and SHE says it is) I'm with the random Kenya drinkers. Makes a
nice after dinner cuppa in the Cona-D but that is absolutely the only
way we drink it. And then I only drink one - maybe two cups.

Is that similar to "good pastor syndrome". Because we could have probably diagnosed you with that one a while ago.

It is good to hear that you are feeling better and that they have put a name
to the problem. Hope you get back to your energetic self again soon. It
sure was great meeting you at the PNWG.

Certainly relieved to here you are on the mend and will be back with us. I
think we all feel the loss when one of our extended family is away or not
feeling well.

I guess that means someone tried to put you out to pasture a little too
Glad to hear the good news John.

Glad to hear that sigh!
A quick web search seems to indicate that Goodpasture Syndrome is one of
those 'not too bad unless it kills you' things - the kind of stuff that can
be really bad if left untreated and no big deal if it is. Make sure and
follow the directions (unlike with coffee stuff :) and keep an eye on

Extremely glad to hear it. Goodpasture Syndrome sounds just about
right for a reverend.

I don't think so Ed, But.... I do have to deal with some real pills :-)
I think this might be a part of His retirement program - I've been put
out to Good Pasture :O)

I think they misdiagnosed it. It's GoodPastor Syndrome.

I was "out sick" myself (just a bit of a bug for a few days) so I'm more than a little late on this, but GLAD YOU'RE BACK!
