   Thanks for the replies, but I just don't see any way around this,
then to try taking it apart. The burrs will touch & lock against one
another, and from that position, I get about 3/4 of a turn on the
adjustment nut, which produces a grind a bit too fine for vac pot
brewing (though, I'm still using it for that). Also, there is nothing
clogging the burrs.
  Before I perform surgery on it, does anyone know how the inner burr is
attached to the main shaft? Is the shaft itself just threaded? Could the
burr have slowly moved down on the threads to limit adjustment?
  At any rate, thanks for the input, and any other suggestions or
comments would be appreciated, as it's going to be a couple of days
before I get with this problem. Also, as I quickly learned, when home
roasting, it pays to have an immediate back-up for every piece of
equipment you have, so I still am in the game with one down & two to go!
