The plastic bottom where the beans
sit and get agitated fell off of my FreshRoast Plus.  Has anyone had that
similar problem?  I called Fresh beans to get a replacement but more
than likely since I have had it for only about two months or so the
replacement will eventually fall off too.  Has anyone tried their
own way to keep this from happening?  Thank
you.

I had the bottom plastic of my FreshRoast Plus crack, and I called them up. They told me that the metal screen at the bottom was a little large. When it expanded due to the heat, it would damage the plastic. I sent it back, they fitted it with a new screen, and it has worked fine since.

Hi:

It is just glued on, if it is not broken
you can glue it back. I ordered a cast aluminum one from ???, maybe Jim will see
this post and remind us where to get the new and better bottom! can I say
that?
