This is exactly what I was talking about. (exact same model I bought) Easily
run two poppers or Rostos same time for an hour. One nonstop 24x7. Currently
$15 plus s/h.http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item%61967615&categoryF65Take your time working the auctions and I virtually guarantee you can get
one for under $40 including shipping. BTW, when dealing with eBay sellers if
they don't list their shipping, ask BEFORE you bid! (like this particular
auction....)
Here's another one, though only 7.5A rating. (note the $20 shipping, these
puppies are heavy!) Would work fine for an hour back to back roasts.
Especially if running cooling cycle, then no concerns.http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item%61608040&categoryF65Here's the same Powerstat 0-140v 10A but overpriced. Asking $49.99 opening
bid...http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item%62268541&categoryF65But even so still a better built unit than the KRM 10A that's over $100! (I
can say that, I had a 10A KRM too. It worked fine, but can do better for
less.)
Be careful and watch the output voltage range. Some are designed 120v input
0-120v output... not what you want. (or 240v input, don't want those
either.)
