John,
I have a LaVazza Carmencita stainless steel moka pot
and an Atomic stovetop (has a steam wand as well)
Neither makes really great coffee but with milk and sugar....
I've used the atomic most. For years it was all I used. Once you learn, it
does a really great job of frothing the milk for a cappucino or latte. It
makes about 10 or 12 ounces liquid from 20g of coffee and so a lot weaker
than an espresso but not as bad as you'd think with that much water through
that few grinds. Of course these are no longer made but are around 2nd
hand. There's one on ebay right now item 3264685476.
I like them both as part of our coffee museum, kitchen decoration
If you like I'll fire up the LaVazza to remind myself what its like and let
you know...

That was so you could see what they looked like, nothing more.

Well I just made, in the LaVazza, some of the worst coffee I have ever
tasted. Yecch!
I ran two lots of plain water through it to wash it out then one of coffee.
It was sooo bitter. In case it was beginners luck I made another pot. Just
as bad. I guess my tastes have changed, at one time I'd have drowned out
the bitter with cream and sugar ;-)
