My second attempt at using the P4 profile on my Behmor. This time it was with the Colombia Tolima Las Florestales. I can't explain it but with P4 what I'm noticing is that there is less acidity and more body in the cup. I had previously roasted this bean using P2 and P3. The P4 profile may have muted the flavours slightly but unless I do a direct side by side comparison I really can't notice it. For now I am enjoying this profile. Just a side not I have the last of my Harar resting and for that I used P3. Being my last 1/2 lb I didn't feel like experimenting. Unfortunately I now wish I had tried this using P1 based on an earlier recommendation. John H. Cup of FC+ Sulawesi Grade 1 Toraja in the Moka Pot. First time using the Moka pot for an Indonesian coffee. I was surprised that I actually didn't much care for it!! Of course, my mouth tastes like the cigar I smoked last nite, so it's really hard to know exactly what I didn't like. We'll see how it tastes in the next few days.bill Homeroast mailing list Homeroasthttp://www.sweetmariascoffee.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemIdx20">http://lists.sweetmariascoffee.com/listinfo.cgi/homeroast-sweetmariascoffee.comHomeroast community pictures -upload yours!) :http://www.sweetmariascoffee.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemIdx20

Bill, Some people add a bit of hot water to moka pot coffee. It's sort of like adding a splash of water to high-grade whiskey, I guess, opening up the flavors a bit. You might consider experimenting in this way. I don't do that, but some of my guests do, so as a matter of course when I have company I heat up some water and make it available for that purpose.
